Sock Monkeys Love Christmas Too!

I have a calendar so I know it's only September, but it's never too soon to think about how sock monkeys will be spending Christmas! I'll be adding these papier mache cuties to my etsy shop today. They're a whole lot of fun at 7" long and only $18!

Sock Monkey Treasure from the Yard Sale!

My first antique sock monkey! Just got back from the World's Longest Yard Sale. It covers 5 states, but we covered Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. At the very last place we stopped, I saw an antique sock monkey stuffed down in a cardboard box. She's over 50 years old and her name is Pauline. I named her after the woman who owned her - it was a gift from her father to her mother.
